    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
  • I spent three days shadowing members of the consulting team at PwC Glasgow, and was given the opportunity to sit in on meetings. Across the three days, I gained further insight as to what consulting at PwC involved, and was even given the chance to work on an energiser activity for an upcoming meeting, alongside a fellow intern and my programme buddy.

    Business Insight

  • 3. What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
  • Through chats with numerous members of the consulting team, I was able to better understand what it is that they do, and how PwC works (in terms of culture, progression, training, support networks etc). I learnt things that I previously was not aware of about consulting, such as the vast differences between consulting in the private versus public sector.
