Yes, I was handed many tasks that supported and contributed to projects such as product launches and existing product marketing. Going through the placement I became increasingly more independent in task and was given more responsibility as my confidence and experience developed in the company.
Support & Guidance
I had lots of support from my boss and others on the team, there would be weekly 1-1 calls and team meetings where we would discuss projects and catch up about anything. This was very relaxed and allowed me to ask any questions I had.
Culture
The company's values were expressed in their messaging and treatment towards employees which I enjoyed learning about, this was done in the communications updates, different office events, the clubs within the company that you could join such as the women empowerment network, hosted lunch and learn sessions and town hall meetings that were done quarterly (include business unit specific one, entire company and site specific). I really enjoyed working in the office, it was very open and welcoming with the site facilities being very modern and well looked after.
