    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • The roles focuses on ensuring all the customers gets the best experience with SAP Concur. The role is highly dynamic and involves working on different projects. The primary work involves reporting on risk accounts, reviewing current processes and replacing it with more efficient process, creating new tools to showcase business value for existing customers. Helping Customer Success team with customer business reviews and value engagement.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Throughout the placement, I have learned new skills and also polished my existing skills. I have developed my skills such as communication, presentation, ability to understand requirements, reporting and automating them using Macros and VBA. New skills that I have acquired is working in SAP platforms such as Concur and SAP Analytics cloud. Further I have acquired advance skills in highspot which is used to create landing pages and manage contents.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, I have been given good responsibility throughout my placement. I had the chance to run my own project where I decided the roadmap and plan for running the project. Further, I had the responsibility to apply to the G-Cloud public sector tender applications. Just like the examples mentioned above, I had good amount of responsibility throughout.

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • The placement started with an excellent onboarding giving more introduction about the company. Later, I had good introductions about the team and more about my role which was a good starting point. I was able to receive amazing support throughout my placement from my team , colleagues and the placement team.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • SAP has a very open minded and flat working culture. It was always easy to reach out to people asking for help or to learn new things. All the efforts are really noticed and highly appreciated by the company.

  • I had the best possible experience with SAP, starting from day to the end. It was a fabulous experience. Having the opportunity to work with different teams and people, it was an amazing starting point for my professional career.
