Overview
Speaking to existing customers - forecasting projects and requirements, fulfilling current requirements, connecting customers with relevant vendors/suppliers. Identifying and outreach to potential customers.
Skills
Cold calling, relationship building, hosting customer meetings, general admin e.g. email management, internal networking
Responsibilities
I'm given full responsibility for managing all of my own work. I have regular touch points with my manager but I have a lot of independence
Support & Guidance
my manager is always on hand to support with whatever I'm having trouble with, the induction period is very thorough and everyone I have spoken to in the office is more than happy to help
Culture
Very social and encouraging, I found it very easy to feel comfprtable in the office
Your Impressions
I have actually enjoyed most days of my internship. Having all the responsibility of our own work means you can structure your days to suit how you like to work. The best bit has been meeting people in the office. I started with a large intake of uni graduates so a lot of people around the same age as me and has been great working with them over the year.
