Overview
Each day comprised many technical training sessions, interspersed with professional skill development workshops. There were simulation sessions, where we could apply the skills we were taught, along with networking opportunities.
Skills
I learnt many forms of technical and financial analysis, such as bond valuation and market making. Alongside this, I learnt how to do M&A recommendations
Business Insight
It was interesting and challenging. The programme pushed us to question whatever we knew and gave us ample opportunities to learn.
Culture
Professional and cordial, with industry professionals offering ample advice and being willing to help whenever they could.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it quite a lot, it gave me a lot of insight into how the trading desk of a market maker works. Ity solidified my ambition to work in the industry.
