  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • SEAC scientist, working on membrane water partitioning, work ranges from the operation of analytical equipment such as LC-MS/MS to the preparation of samples as well as experiment planning, literature research and communication of results.

  • Working environment is great everyone in the team is friendly and open for conversation, allocated line manger was very in the loop with my project and other work colleagues helped within the lab and experimentation

  • My placement will be valuable for my future career , with lots of skills acquired which can be applied for my final year of study, good social atmosphere which allowed me to enjoy living in an area I had never been to before

  • Be enthusiastic and have a strong desire to learn and thrive as part of a team. A genuine interest in scientific research with good basic understanding of analytical chemistry
