Overview
I support 2 functions of HR at Pernod. 1. HR business partners - Employee lifecycle - Loan requests/other company benefits - supporting employees 2. Talent attraction/EVP team - project work - evp campaigns
Skills
Yes, i have gained skills in Excel which i did not have prior to joining my placement. As well as soft skills such as presenting and leading project work (stakeholder management). My public speaking has significantly improved.
Responsibilities
Loads of responsibility! I lead a company wide project which involved external clients. This helped develop my stakeholder management skills.
Support & Guidance
So much support. I was fortunate enough to work with 2 amazing managers who always supported me and checked in on me.
Culture
A balance of relaxed and corporate. Sometimes things felt too slow. At times the hybrid working system was frustrating.
Your Impressions
Very much enjoyed it. It has been a great experience. I have learnt so much. Sadly i dont think i will do this job in the future but it has been a great experience.
