Skills
Yes, absolutely! My time at Pernod Ricard taught me so many things. From technical skills like working with platforms such as Wordpress, Radarly, Nielsen, Salesforce, PowerBI and many other; to softer skills such as efficient time management, prioritising, communication skills, negotiation and conflict management. There is so many more that I could list, but the one that I am proudest to have developed at Pernod are my critical skills. I was always encouraged to ask the right questions and stay curious in any job I do.
Responsibilities
Yes, I got to lead projects and campaign activations. I was also made lead on all things digital and data related which meant I got to work a lot with the global team and the other teams. I was also handed over the 'brand priority campaign calendar' which meant that I had to manage the whole marketing team to feed in all the necessary informations that I then filtered and ensured clear comes to the sales team.
Support & Guidance
I actually had a total of 6 managers through out my placement due to all the brands I got the opportunity to work on. All of them were extremely supportive and true role models of what a manager should be like. They have been extremely supportive in both my career development and my personal one, always ensuring that I understood every task I was given, that I was given a enough responsibilities and that I finished my placement having gained skills and knowledge.
Culture
The company culture is absolutely amazing! Everyone is extremely friendly and supportive. I have never seen such a big group of people genuinely be happy for the achievements of their peers. Everyone is super social, empathetic and kind. I would recommend it to anyone!
Your Impressions
Highly enjoyed! It's been a joy to work at Pernod and I would take the opportunity again if offered to me. I had the perfect mix of work and social activities to ensure that work felt like a place I wanted to be at, not one I dreaded. I would recommend it to anyone!
Yes
Be yourself! It sounds cliche, but your managers hiring you want to see your personality along with your skills. Practice the knowledge you want to convey in your answers, but don't practice your answers! Relax and enjoy your interviews, the hiring team want to hire someone as much as you want to be hired :)!
