The Role
Very interesting work given, and the staff are extremely nice and friendly.
Very much so, was given important tasks to do, and saw the fruits of my labour incorporated into ongoing cases.
Lots of support was give, both my supervisor and training buddy were extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions I had.
Good balance between work, social events, and assessments. Never had nothing to do.
Was given some responsibility, obviously everything I did would have to be checked, however I was involved within current cases.
Very much. Walker Morris have given me a useful and friendly insight into life at a large commercial law firm
The Company
The department I was in was extremely fun and loud, the staff were extremely friendly and always willing to chat.
Very well organised, sometimes ran a little late, however that would be expected in a busy office.
Whilst only 1 week, the placement gives you a superb insight into life at a commercial firm.
Based on my experience I would happily take up a job at the firm. They were very down to earth and friendly.
The Culture
Very good atmosphere, the social events organised allow trainees, partners, associates and the people on the placement a chance to chat and get to know each other, whilst having a few drinks and playing pool.
Leeds is not the cheapest city, however for a large city it is reasonably prices.
Leeds nightlife is ok with a good mix of everything for anyones tastes.
There appeared to be a number of different activities which were planned for staff members.
