Overview
My role is to assist my team in their larger projects whilst also leading my own. A typical day involves project meetings where I take minutes and then circulate these. I'll also have meetings with agency partners we may be working with on certain projects. The rest of the day is spent on working on my own projects.
Skills
I've definitely learned a lot of new skills and developed existing ones, namely time management, project management, public speaking, organisation.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a lot more responsibility than I could have ever imagined. Although this was daunting at first, it's helped me to develop my confidence and skills so much!
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support from my line managers but also the rest of my team and wider colleagues too. Everyone is happy to help and support you.
Culture
Everyone is really friendly, supportive and happy to help. This makes it a really nice place to complete a placement year.

I absolutely loved my placement year, the people I met and the opportunities I received along the way!
Yes
Be yourself - a key quality I believe is looked for is authenticity. The application process is also fairly different to other companies so (try to!) enjoy the application process as much as you can.
