The Role
All in all it has been an enjoyable placement experience
I have always felt valued by colleagues at the company
Because it is small office management is easily approachable and around to help when you need them.
Generally I was busy throoughout the day, but with like every business there are quite days when there isn't much to do.
I was given as much responsibly in my role as all the full time staff.
The skills I have developed wont directly help my degree studies but they have definitely improved my employability
The Company
The atmosphere is young and vibrant. The office is quite small so you get t to know most of your colleagues well which is great.
The placement itself was organised quite well, each intern is paired directly with their best suited BDM and you learn what is expected of you pretty quickly.
There are two weeks of training when first starting, but other than that not much else
Company Parties/Events
It would be a good place to return to if I was looking for a Sales Role.
The Culture
There are around 16 interns in the office so we do spend a lot of time socialising outside of the office.
The cost of living is higher compared to Uni, but we still go out every weekend.
The night-life in Maidenhead isn't great (apart from Smokies) but we usually go out in Windsor or Reading which is a £10 return taxi journey each.
There is a male work football team, some interns have joined the gym.
