Overview
Managing reserve levels of energy in the GB power grid. Recommending values to the control room and adjusting them based on feedback and data analysis.
Skills
VBA, R, python and SQL coding skills. Data analysis using each of these languages. Presentation skills and networking.
Responsibilities
Yes you always had a safety net as you are an undergrad but you are doing the same jobs as your team members.

Lots of support from across the business. Early careers to your own team.
Culture
Flexible working was very normal, working from home and going to the office a few days of the week. Knowledge shares and development opportunities are rife.

I enjoyed it a lot, they are one of the best companies to work for if you make it that way. It's also easy to be lazy.
