Overview
I rotated between different teams with different responsibilities. On average, I dealt with customer queries via email/phone, planned and delivered work for a couple projects, analysed and summarised data from our IT systems, created or improved documents and collaborated with other teams.
Skills
I developed multiple skills, including: customer/stakeholder engagement, presenting, project planning, event planning, data analysis and summary, verbal and written communication, team working.
Responsibilities
I was given a huge amount of personal responsibility, being made lead on a customer project. As I delivered increasingly complex tasks, I was rewarded with more and more responsibility. I was treated the same as any other permanent team member.
Support & Guidance
I was given a huge amount of support from the careers team, my managers and my business coordinator, as well as all my colleagues. The environment was incredibly supportive and welcoming, and everyone was always willing to answer my questions and help.
Culture
Extremely supportive and welcoming, everyone is always willing to answer your questions and talk about what they do. Everyone is valued and there is a place for them.
Your Impressions
I absolutely loved my placement. I could not have ended up in a better team and company, and would 100% recommend this to everyone. No matter what your background is, there is something for you.
