Overview
My role on a day to day basis is project management of the access remit on two of the biggest IT projects Aldi has done, whilst also supporting the steady state business with any day to day access issues with the new IT systems
Skills
My main skills that have evolved are project management, by working on some huge projects, Professionalism by working with and around other Aldi staff and communication ensuring all parties are informed of latest status of tasks and projects
Responsibilities
This placement has given me beyond the level of responsibility that I would expect at any other company

Fully supported with frequent 1-1's with your direct lead and working with a great team who were always there for me to ask questions of

The company culture is very professional and they expect alot from you but they give you all the support to succeed
Your Impressions
I enjoyed the projects the most as they are fast paced and keep you busy always with new things cropping up to test you
Yes
You have to be prepared to work - it sounds silly but they expect alot from you and you will not be respected if you do not show respect to others by doing your allocated work - Aldi is not a placement you can just "pass-by" and have a easy year out of university. It is a year of experience and Aldi are good at exposing you to the business and letting you get that epxerience
