Overview
Responsible for building key relationships with new & existing customers. Primarily worked within the SMB market, on accounts sub 50 users. Tasked with understanding how we can position ourselves as a viable IT Partner selling anything within hybrid infrastructure, digital workspace to cyber security.
Skills
B2C in person presentation skills, negotiation techniques, technological understanding.
Responsibilities
I was entirely responsible for building pipeline, and managed over 70 accounts day-to-day.
Support & Guidance
There is a significant amount of training provided week-to-week, whilst the first 4 weeks has an intensive training programme you must complete.
Culture
The culture & social aspect in my local office was extremely good. There are work events to help network with new people at the company on a regular basis, along with societies you can join.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship. I've been given a massive amount on responsibility & developed significantly from talking to my customers day-to-day. The only negative is there not being a commission structure, which should be in place given its a sales role to reward good performance.
