Overview
Supporting my team across the PR, Social and Influencer. Reviewing & approving social content for our Instagram account including our BAU (business as usual) content and influencers. Curating ideas for our own in house content. Ensuring things are organised on our Sharepoint, a collaborative storage system for the team and agencies. Finding extenal trends to inform my team on anything related with next gen.
Skills
My confidence has improved massively. I put myself out there by networking with various people in the GMO (Global marketing Operations) and from that, I improved my communications skills. Working in a fast paced environment meant my organisational skills has improved because I had to juggle different priorities. Attention to detail was another skill developed, through proof reading reports and spell checking captions on social content videos
Responsibilities
100%. My team really treated me as a colleague and not an intern. I was trusted and given responsibility to lead different campaigns.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of support throughout my internship through my manager, my team, my buddy and the talent team. I never felt I was struggling on my own.
Culture
Loved the company culture. Everyone was so friendly which at first I didn't think they were going to be that friendly given that I was at a big tech company. There was a lot of volunteering and events too which built up a good company.
Your Impressions
At the start, I was so nervous and had imposter syndrome but now I don't want to leave! I really loved my placement at Adobe and my role. I am so grateful for this oppurtunity.
Yes
Show passion. When I first applied I didn't have a lot of experience so I was really nervous but I loved description of this role so I made sure I showed it.
