Overview
During my placement I had the opportunity of working within a Product marketing role and also a role within global communication strategy. Day to day, I would work on important tasks and partake in meetings with senior members of staff. I would also attend in person events across the UK.
Skills
Confidence within meetings, Public speaking, excel, presenting, organisation, independent decision making, corporate working
Responsibilities
Within my placement I was given way more responsibility than I expected. I was treated as a valued member of the team and picked up high level tasks.
Support & Guidance
The amount of support and guidance I received was down to me not really needing it. When I required it, it was always there, and there was never a problem getting it instantly. However I always tried to sort things out myself first before looking for guidance.
Culture
The company culture is the best I have ever seen, so much genuine want to help people succeed and to always help.
Your Impressions
I absolutely loved my placement, and stand by the fact I think it is the best out there. So much opportunity to do what you want to do, for example marketing, finance, comms etc. I have grown so much as an individual both personally and professionally.
Yes
Be yourself, be human, put in as much effort as you can, but in the interview just be likeable.
