Overview
My role is very varied, I am involved in data analysis, planning, creation of learning, and networking with a lot of people. I work across the whole business on various projects which is a great opportunity to understand different areas and understand others jobs to make the learning I create, more effective.
Skills
100%! My presentation skills have come on massively. I was given the opportunity to start with small audiences and build this up to talking in front of over 100 people. In addition, I built my networking skills, where I now feel confidence enough to walk up to lots of different people and network. In addition, my data analysis skills have improved and no only just collecting and analysing but visually represent it to others too.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given big responsibilities throughout the year. However, this wasn't just dropped on me, day one. I was slowly given more and more responsibility. This was great as I felt like I was progressing. It gave me the opportunity to ask for more and when I did, I was always given it.
Support & Guidance
I received as much as I wanted really. I had my manager, buddy and lots of peers available to me to go to in order to as for support and guidance, but I also wasn't hand held which I appreciated and it made me feel trusted
Culture
The company culture is amazing! JLR are currently undergoing a cultural transformation and these values are amazing, they pride themselves to being an organisation where anyone can come to work and be their authentic self.
