Overview
My role varies from day-to-day. Some days will be spent interacting with our top customers, whether running/facilitating a design thinking workshop, or presenting to them. There are many opportunities to present, even to c-suites. Other days will be spent preparing this work through the multiple lenses we use. This ranges from performing analytics & benchmarking, to giving an industry perspective.
Skills
I have learnt and developed a lot of new hard skills and soft skills. One of the skills most interns will learn is the ways of work in our office culture. Both within my team and within the intern cohort we also have many trainings sessions to develop soft skills, such as interpersonal skills, time management and leadership. I have also learnt more hard skills such as presenting, using Excel, various forms of analysis and technological architecture.
Responsibilities
Yes. I feel very responsible for the many opportunities I have been given. It is a very supportive environment despite being made to feel responsible.
Support & Guidance
I receive a lot of support and guidance when I need it through other people in the company. Everyone is happy to help you grow and develop, whilst also pushing you to your personal developmental limits.
Culture
I have found the company culture to be very happy and friendly. There is usually a good buzz in the office, and the atmosphere is supportive when it comes to the work we do.

I have enjoyed my placement to a very high extent. I struggle to find ways to fault it!
