Overview
My day-to-day ranges. Typically it will consist of me checking emails to see if there has been any tasks delegated to me from my manager or team. If not, I focus on the 3 main roles assigned to me which would be working on the organisation of an event, if there are any upcoming ones arranged by my team or working on the compliance project or completing the newsletters.
Skills
The importance of organisation. I've understood that everything kind of operates under the domino effect. When you effectively do your role and what is needed for you the customer is happy but your team functions well. When you do the opposite you also affect those around you. So, it's important to be organised. It's not a skill per say. But I'm a lot more comfortable asking for help.
Responsibilities
Honestly speaking. The right amount for me to handle myself well in another corporate role
Support & Guidance
I have an amazing manager and team that I work with. Despite the workload they bear, they were always willing to go through things with me and support me where necessary. So, I would say a lot.
Culture
Everyone's nice it's a nice company.
Your Impressions
Life changing experience. It definitely put into perspective what the corporate world is like and what to expect and in some cases I'm kind of happy we were treated more like regular employees than interns as I feel like that's where a lot of the growth stems from.
Yes
Be yourself but also be ready to grow and change. Do your research on the company and role, ask questions but don't ask the generic/typical questions. Be authentic
