Overview
Key Objectives: • To play an intergral role within both the internal & external company audits • To take ownership of specific shared costs for the company and develop a more efficient process for their computation and allocation Key Responsibilities: • Management of deliverables for quarterly and annual external audits • Internal audit preparation and involvement including fixed assets • Production of monthly / quarterly computations to allocate shared costs across the business • Preparation of resulting “posting templates” for SEUK’s outsourced AP team • Balance sheet reconciliations and clear down • Preparation of monthly WEEE [Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment] declaration for submission in line with the EU directive • Communication with head office and local business operations to fulfil compliance work • Impact assessment of changes or updates in Accounting Standards • Opportunity for cross-training and development within the Financial Accounting Team
