  • Working within the brand engagement team, with a role that bridges media and advocacy. From assisting with events, paid campaigns and media, the job varies on the daily with lots of independence within the role which allows you to learn lots on the placement

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • When the team you work in trusts you, it gives you a huge degree of independence. I was able to manage paid social campaigns independently from beginning to end with the trust of my manager/ team to complete it to a high standard. You also get as much freedom as you would like as the team will give you as much responsibility as you show you are capable to handle

    Support & Guidance

  • 4. How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
  • When you gain confidence, you get as much support as you need. I felt like i could ask any question, no matter how stupid, and it was always received kindly. Sometimes the work load was a lot however, if you are transparent about this, management do what they can to alleviate the stress

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Everyone is very easy to talk to within the team and recently, the division has increased the amount of social events they have. This has improved moral of the company as pre-2024, tight budgets meant this was not possible and it was noticeable across the mood of the division

  • As it is a huge company and there are lots of applications, i believe that it is luck whether or not you get the position. You should feel empowered to apply as no matter what degree you do, anyone can work here. Expect a significant work load however, your team wouldn't give you that much if you couldn't handle it!
