  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • As an Intern in Global Distribuiton, the day-to-day varies constantly, depending of the priorities of the business, there are weeks where my focus is on preparing material for webinars or presentation, other weeks where I work with external clients to create Marketing campaigns and days where I focus on creating reports for the senior leadership of the department and other departments.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • From the start of my placement I was thrown into the deep end of the business, which personally think is the best way of learning a new job, by doing stuff. I have owned and co-owned various projects and weekly tasks that need to be carried out. This has come from the trust of my superiors as well as my proactiveness to want to engage and carry responsability during my placement year.

The best guidance has come through constructive feedback and has enabled me to improve on what to do better. Everyone in the workplace has always been open to give me support and guidance when needed, sometimes without even asking.
