Overview
The main role is helping and aiding the Aerosol Design team with their tasks and projects. I had a personal project that I had a lot of freedom over how to manage and work with. I was also able to have a lot oportunities to connect with colleages and memebers of the busniess to build connections. No 2 days were ever the same, there was a lot of variety and flexiibility within the job.
Skills
I have been able to develop, and build a variety of new skills. These include soft skills such as presentation, project managment, time managment, office suite and colabaration. I have also been able to develop my technical skills, such as use of scientific equipment, special softwares, use of SOP's and good laboratory practice
Responsibilities
Once I have built some confidence within my role and the business, I was given much more responsability and freedom in doing jobs and testing
Support & Guidance
There was a good amount of both support and guidance given by both the placement team and my line manager. I have never felt like I cant ask people for help and guidance.
Culture
Overall, BAT has a great company culture, where everyone seemed willing to help or give advice to us as interns. Also, while there is a lot of work to do, there is always events put in place by BAT to give their staff a break.

Overall, my placemnt at BAT was a great experience, I have been able to build and develop a large variety of skills and connections.
