Responsibilities
Yes, I handled the bookings of all demos in the Innovation Studio this past year. This was near 300 demos with different clients ranging from Shell to the UK Government.
Support & Guidance
My task manager's support and guidance was vital and definitely the most support I have received in my career. I had mentors that I worked with in my team who were more than happy to advise me on how to better approach things and would consistently evaluate my work - which is what I communicated I needed. Overall, I worked with a fantastic team.
Culture
Company culture is generally suited to interns working there, as a futures leaver I was one of the youngest people in the company at the time and despite this, they respect the level of effort it takes to get where you are and that you are willing to learn. Most IBMers are more than happy to sit and chat to find out further about your placement and how they can help which really does impact one.

I would advise being open to making new friends and being outgoing - IBMers are generally helpful, just ensure that you are personable and outgoing.
