  • Daily communications to internal and external stakeholders. Answering queries via email / in-person / online meetings. Frequent online teams meetings. Liaising with wider team (Supply Chain, Commercial, Customer Care, etc). Weekly data reports for presenting to internal and external stakeholders. Utilising Excel and SAP for reports. Account sweeping (going through customer orders to find any errors that need investigating)

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given a significant amount of responsibility during my time here in L'Oreal as an intern. I was in charge with producing the reports which are shared with internal and external stakeholders. This is key as you have to make sure you are presenting reliable data. Answering queries from the team and customers is also a big responsibility as you are making you have the right facts by doing your own research or liaising with the other teams to gather the information needed.

  • I gained a lot of support from my team and other teams as well. You are not scared to make any mistakes because there is a strong support system around you. They are always there to help with anything. Not only work-related, but also personal matters.

  • I really enjoyed my internship 10/10. I made a lot of meaningful connections here as well as attaining the skills and experiences I wanted to get out of the 1 year I was here for.

  • My advice is just to be yourself as they are very accepting and welcoming. Always be prepared to adapt to new environments and situations. Collaboration is also key here so be open to work with others and drive success together.
