    • Leadership of cross functional planning and problem solving meetings, Supply chain and delivery analysis to raise actions and improve ontime delivery metrics, project planning and monitoring, customer communication, introduction of product improvements, data management.

    • Yes I have learnt many new skills as my role allows me an overview of the entire manufacturing process cradle to grave. My business management and manufacturing engineering knowledge have been increased through observation and my project planning and execution skills have been improved through practice. My soft skills have also benefitted as I have lead many meetings and presented to senior stakeholders

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

    • I was given hightened responsibilities for an intern, aiding in the management of critical data to influence operational decisions. I was trusted to lead meetings and make decisions for senior project managers when they were unavailable for major aircraft programmes.

    • Everyone is extremely friendly which means that you could speak to anyone with the confidence that they would not become irritated or brush you off. This respect was replicated by everyone and made for a very nice working environment,

    • I really enjoyed my internship. I look forward to coming to work and my skills developed rapidly which means I could see a visible difference in my confidence and ability.

    • GE focuses very strongly on their core values which are, Act With Humility, Deliver With Focus and Lead With Transparency. Most interview questions will branch from these in some shape or form. Otherwise, they are looking for able problem solvers who are able to think for themselves and take pride in their wokr.
