Overview
Daily I operate out of salesforce, managing cases and sales forecast actions. Also time spent hunting on the phone for new business. Other projects I've been involved in are with marketing and applied AI.
Skills
I have developed my people skills and learnt the Danahar business system, which has masively changed my approach and attitude to work
Responsibilities
At the beginning I was given a lot more, in other business units as well. Now we have a harder team goal so time has been spent on this
Support & Guidance
I have recieved a lot of support and guidance from other managers and members of the Medical team, however my manager isnt based locally and has been disengaged throughout the year. In future I would like a more hands on manager.
Culture
Its a close knit family, who are highly supportive and push you to find the answers yourself. However, they are always willing to put in the ours in the day for you.
Your Impressions
At the beginning it was far more exciting, havig wider esponsabilities and seemingly the drive from my manager to help support other areas of the business, I felt I would develop a lot more skills. Towards the end there is less direction and inclusivity, I dont find the role stimulating intellectually and would need something more so in future
Yes
Be pro-active, make sure that you're number one priority is helping your team first, then push other initiatives once you have helped fix your teams issues. Make sure to offer help to anyone who asks if you have the time to do it, but dont be afraid to say no.Push your manager, if you dont like something, call it out. Be yourself
