  • Customer service through serving customers with vehicles and fixing issues so customer is left completely satisfied. Running a large fleet of cars and ensuring they are safe for the road. Teamwork is vital to success of the branch.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • I have learnt selling techniques without making it obvious that I am pushing sales. Customer service by being comfortable and showing my confidence when speaking to new people. Organisation and time management is vital to the success of the running of the fleet at the branch.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • High levels of responsibility in relation to ensuring cars are safe, legal and roadworthy, this is important for safety of customers and staff. Running the fleet is important to ensuring customers are completely satisfied by receiving a clean, safe car, on time.

  • Management check in on your work everyday to ensure you are comfortable and confident in what you are doing. There is an official 1-1 at the end of every month where you have a chance to self reflect on your achievements and what skills you want to develop the following month.

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Considering the team in the branch is usually younger it means that it is easier to network as you feel comfortable with everyone being a similar age. Everyone is very accepting and there is a high level of diversity within the teams.

  • I enjoyed it as I developed many skills that I have not used before to this extent. Customer service is a skill I have always been interested in continuous development and at Enterprise I have had the opportunity to develop this.
