The Role
This placement exceeded my expectations and I throroughly enjoyed it.
My trainee buddies were amazing but my supervisor and other senior associates were very busy and I felt like I would be bothering them if I went over to talk.
Again, I couldn't have had better trainee buddies. You each get assigned one but I feel like I had more than one because all of the trainees were extremely supportive and willing to chat.
Always had work but never too much.
Obviosly as a trainee you don't have amazing responsibility let alone a vac scheme student. However, I was involved in a piece of research where my work was sent to the partner almost unchanged. The reasearch was vital in an important case.
The Company
Very busy but everyone was very friendly making it a lighter more relaxed atmosphere. The PAs were hilarious too!
This was a very well structured scheme compared to other firms. You are sent your timetable in adcance and receive an email from your trainee buddy so you already have that relationship and know which department you'll be in. The only probems were with the assessment day. timetables kept changing but this was understandable following the merger.

Company Parties/Events
I would love to get a job here but I'll have to wait till September.
The Culture
I have made some really good friends and we will all stay in touch.
Stayed at home and communted. The firm funded all of our social events with very generous budgets.
Only realy the social events and office drinks but this was plenty!
