Overview
My role included a variety of things which provided valuable, well-rounded experience. I worked on comms including the storyboards, copy etc for key visuals and TV ads. I was project leader for one of the new products, which involved overseeing the whole innovation process from ideation, to artwork. I also did all the logistics for sending samples to various markets. I led their TikTok account, which involved filming and editing content.
Skills
organisation and time management skills, presentation and public speaking, managing stakeholder relationships, leadership and teamwork
Responsibilities
yes, I was project leader for their main product launch in 2025 which meant overseeing the whole innovation process and managing a cross-functional team (R&D, procurement, supply chain), presenting to key stakeholders and ensuring we stayed to the timeline.
Support & Guidance
I wasn't micromanaged but they always offered support and I felt like I had lot of guidance. I had weekly catch up meetings with my line managers where they would understand my workload and explain processes. They were always happy to jump on a call to help. They made sure I felt challenged enough and constantly revisited my workplan to make sure I was gaining the valuable skills I wanted.
Culture
pleasant and supportive atmosphere, everyone worked hard and good team work. wasn't much opportunity to celebrate peoples achievements.
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a lot due to being positively challenged and supported and having a lovely team. There were times when the tasks were challenging and frustrating due to conflicting priorities and targets across the functions.
Yes
be very familiar with their values, purpose, social mission etc as this is the core of all work. bring a lot of personality and individuality to the interviews as they like confident and outgoing people.
