Overview
Emailing the customer, chasing orders and replen schedules. Creating or running reports which simplify data and share this internally. It also involves customer meetings which you can discuss key points.
Skills
I have developed my excel skills and general ability to online software including SAP. I have developed my people and communication skills, and understanding how to structure and understand what people want to hear.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility due to having a lower headcount in my team, it was required of me to pick up these extra responsibilities.
Support & Guidance
To start with very little guidance was given, I flagged this and from that point my support increased and when a manager role was filled it was much more structured and supported in the role.
Culture
It is a good atmosphere, people are proud to work there. There can be some resentment due to lack of transparency which leads to rumours. They seem to be decreasing the amount of employee perks
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed it, I met a lot of interesting people who I have built connections with. It has also built my skills which i can use to help me with getting post graduate jobs
