Overview
I am in EDS (electronics distribution systems) and my main task is to convert supplier drawings to internal drawings using CATIA. I also electrify CAD models for integration later down the line
Skills
Yes, I have been able to develop my soft skills a lot as well as learning a lot about program management, vehicle systems and general company knowledge
Responsibilities
I could of taken on more responsibilities as the work I was doing wasn’t really relevant to what i studied and was very repetitive
Support & Guidance
The cohort support was decent but the support from my manager was non existent
Culture
The company culture is very friendly and open. I do like it but there dosent feel like there is a rush to get anything done
Your Impressions

Yes
It’s a good company to do a placement and there’s a lot you can do. It just depends on the team you get placed in.
