    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Supported Model Based Development for control software that controls the Electronic Drive Unit. Supported all aspects of the software development process.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Yes, learnt about the model based development approach using Simulink and AUTOSAR to generate AUTOSAR compliant C code. We use the agile methodology and JIRA to keep track of our tasks and project management. WE use GitLab for our version control and use its various CI/CD pipeline features.

  • Better than I expected. The atmosphere is very casual and the culture is quite accepting.
