Overview
Monitoring reservations that come in, managing accounts with businesses who use Enterprise for vehicles, serving customers and checking them in, delivering and collecting cars, going to other branches to collect cars, monitoring vehicles that are going in and out and making sure that each customer gets the correct car that they booked.
Skills
Working professionally with other companies, and creating and maintaining relationships with other businesses to keep them using our services. Communication skills with both customers and colleagues, and making sure that day to day runnings work quickly and efficiently. Also patience and compromise if a customer comes in with problems.
Responsibilities
A little amount. Most of the decisions were made by managers, so it was a case of doing what is being asked of me. There were a few projects that I needed to do but didn't last for too long. Most of it was doing what I was asked.
Support & Guidance
A good amount, but a lot of the time I was left to do what my job was required.
Culture
It was okay, but it was very sales focused, and if you weren't performing then that the only time they say something. All the targets set for me were to do with sales, which I didn't have too much of an interest in.
Your Impressions
I relatively enjoyed it. There were a few good things that I did, but most the time I was doing the same things from day to day, so I always knew what a day would include when I got into work.
No
If you are into a career which is focused on sales, then this is probably the one for you. Career progression is also good if you work for it.
