Overview
I am an intern at enterprise Mobility, my role is a management trainee and my day to day roles are serving customers, running the fleet, making and answering calls. We also do marketing which involves going out to our local accounts and business to have conversations and try and grow the business, as well as making new contacts. We do have to clean some cars throughout the day if needed however it is mostly dealing with customers
Skills
I have become a lot more confident during my placement with having to speak to customers business and other employees, I have also improved my management and time management skills due to managing and running the car fleet on a regular basis which really relies on good management skills and being able to manage time, this is because of having to have cars clean and ready on time and delivered to correct place on time
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility during my placement, this was a really good part of my placement as I was trusted with running the day and the branch. This as key in helping my confidence grow and become a much more confident person. Being given a lot of responsibility was really good for improving key skills such as my management of time and staff management. I really appreciate enterprise for allowing me to have such responsibility to help me grow
Support & Guidance
Support is a big part of enterprise as they always want staff such as myself to grow and learn so much about the business. There is many different ways to get support such as branch managers and assistant managers help support you during your time. There is also support through learning pages on your desktop and they do calls and team videos that help improve knowledge and answer and questions or concerns anyone has at enterprise
Culture
The culture at enterprise is amazing. Everyone is there to help and push eachother which is really important for me is my placement was all about progressing my knowledge and confidence. The culture is not only about business it is about making new contacts and friends. The business is not always serious it is about enjoying your time there with fun day outs, area night outs and branch lunches to help build relationships and make new friends
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed everyday of my placement, the year has flown by. No day is the same o was never bored during work and was really surprised how fun it was to work at Enterprise Mobility. I didn’t think I would fully enjoy working a full time job for a year whilst being a uni student but I have made many new friends and built new relationships that has really made me enjoy my placement
Yes
One big piece of advise is to be confident when applying, the interview stage was very terrifying before I had it however it was a very relaxed interview style and more of a conversation. It is also quite a few hours and work a few Saturdays and maybe Sundays however enterprise do reimburse by giving days off during the week but you do need to have the willingness to sacrifice some weekends and be willing to work extra hours
