Overview
Working in one of the many branches over the UK. This job role is all centred around sales and service. You’ll be exposed to the different business channels and customers such as retail, insurance and corporate. You can also get involved with marketing and helping the business grow.
Skills
Confidence has improved a lot. You have to push yourself out of your comfort zone on a daily basis, with that being work presentations, teams calls and sales pitch. I have also developed time management skills, you create a good routine which will definitely benefit me going into my final year.
Responsibilities
Yes. You are given several different captaincy’s while you work at enterprise. For example I was customer service captain which meant ensuring customers were happy with the overall experience with renting with us and ironing out any potential issues. These captaincy’s change every few months so allow you to see different aspects of the business.
Support & Guidance
I felt lucky at my placement I had a good group of people around me. Especially working at a busy branch.
Culture
Fun and friendly. Core values are doors are always open and that is really true. Everybody is approachable because everybody starts in the exact same position
Your Impressions
It’s been an overall good experience. It definitely isn’t easy and takes a lot of work and determination. One disadvantage of the business is the working hours. But the people and atmosphere makes up for that
Yes
Be prepared. There are social aspects and bonus schemes which are really good. But the hours are long and can be unpredictable
