Overview
Each day is different within Enterprise but it mainly consists of assisting customers, whether that be booking them in or opening contracts once they arrive at branch. It also involves deliveries and collections to our corporate customers, which grants exposure to the marketing side of the business. Sales is also a key part of the business with there being opportunities to sell excess protections and upgrades to certain customers. There is also a big focus on financial statements and ways we can drive revenue which are usually covered in meetings before or after work.
Skills
Enterprise has not only helped me develop new skills but also allowed me to build on skills which i had previously learnt before. With working on the front desk i spend a good amount of my day serving customers and going above and beyond to cater to there needs. Time management has also been a key skill learnt from running the day and managing the business.
Responsibilities
Yes I was handed more responsibility than expected which I believe was great for my development. Running the day and being on the front desk meant that i felt valued in the business which was great for my development.
Support & Guidance
Lots of support and guidance from my colleagues as well as online and in person training events which were all beneficial
Culture
Great company culture with it being a friendly atmosphere in the office and everyone having a positive attitude towards work.
Your Impressions
As much as it was hard work i thoroughly enjoyed my placement and feel like it has been a great experience for my development and careers progression. It has given me much more of a view of what i want to do once i finish University and having the opportunity to stay part time is something which i will take on.
Yes
As long as you are willing to work hard and learn then Enterprise will be a great place to work for you.
