The Role
Exceeded my expectations.
I felt to as a part of the team, not just a temp.
Enough guidance and support, clear instructions, always found time to explain something if I didn't understand.
Pretty busy. I've been given a number of tasks and had to multitask a lots.
Maybe about hald of the work I've done was solely for lawyers and a half that would be distributed to clients.
-greater understanding of the nature of the work -greater understanding of the commercial aspects - confidence in oursuing a career in commercial law
The Company
sociable, friendly, people are approachable and take an interest in you as a person.
For the most part, very well, but there were a few bumpers along the way.
practice groups presentations every day, regular feedback, opportunities to meet senior-level lawyers.
The Culture
Separation of offices (during my placement, in future everyone will be in the same office) didn't help with the social aspect. Poorer integration.
Living - London. Socialising - most stuff was paid for by the firm.
A few.
