  • My role involves being the responsible engineer for multiple manual and automatic stations that will be on the assembly line.

  • I have developed technical skills such as using CAD software and reading/ producing engineering drawings, and have also developed soft skills from presenting and communicating with colleagues and suppliers.

  • I have been given much more responsibility during my placement than I expected to have, which has significantly helped me develop my technical and soft skills. My team have trusted me to work with autonomy from the very beginning of my placement, but are also keen to provide help and support when required.
