Overview
FEA analysis of structural components & joints within the chassis of vehicles. This involves analysis, evaluation and then collating results in to report as well as then making recommendations for changes

Responsibilities
I was a fully integrated member of the team. There was little to no difference between me and a full time worker in terms of the scope of work.
Support & Guidance
I could call upon anybody in the team for support and help.
Culture
Very relaxed and friendly, can wear what you want. Can work from home as and when needed.
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed my placement year. I gained a lot in terms industrial skills, soft skills and technical skills. I was able to apply what I had learnt at university. I also made some great friends who I will remain in contact with well after the placement.
