    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Day to day I serve customers, visit dealerships and body shops, look at the financial statements of the company. Engage with our corporate accounts, set up meeting ls with our clients to keep a healthy relationship with our accounts, deliver and collect cars from company hires.

  • I have learned and developed plenty of new skills. I have learnt a lot more on my sales skills. I have developed my confidence in terms of presenting to an audience and voicing my ideas and thoughts. Learnt the importance of time management. Developed on my communication skills

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • I was given plenty of responsibility, I organised plenty of events, I had to help run the day of the branch. I was given plenty of tasks to do my self and organise.

  • I was always given plenty of support, I was in a very good work environment everyone was always welcoming and encouraging and helpful with any problems and queries I had.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Company culture was amazing, was a great and diverse environment, I was in a branch that was very diverse and everyone was so nice and welcoming, there was no sense of exclusion, everyone is very included in everything and we all had a great healthy work environment

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I enjoyed my placement to the fullest, everyday was exciting, new and challenging. It was full of lots of fun and lots of events to be a part of throughout the year. I learnt a lot and developed on plenty of skills

  • My advice would be to be yourself, get involved, don’t be afraid to make any mistakes as you will learn from them and you will always have guidance
