    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Definitely, during the course of the placement, I have developed my confidence exponentially both in presenting and decision making. A key part of the role is managing conflicting needs which has developed my ability to juggle differing business priorities. The last year has changed my thinking process in tackling a problem and identifying the best solution. It's also provided the opportunity to develop my project management skills, working within a team to deliver a project end-to-end, ensuring it stays on track to meet deadlines and fulfils it's objective.

    Responsibilities

  • 3. Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
  • Yes, if the role wasn't filled by a placement they would hire someone for the job so you play a key part in the business. As such you have just as much responsibility as any other employee. As a placement you have additional responsibilities as you are given placement specific projects that revolve around improving certain areas of the company which you present to the senior leadership team.
