Overview
- Day to day this involved staying in contact with a selection of brands which are live on site with us. We would be required to negotiate effectively, and come up with new ideas for how we should use their marketing budget to best gain traffic to their page.
Skills
Improved my communication skills, improved through being in contact with brands and also from speaking with other people in the team. Have also improved my organisational skills. During the placement I managed a wide range of brands, which required me to learn to keep everything in order and which helped stay on top of any deadlines.
Responsibilities
Was given a huge amount of responsibly, which meant I had to be fast at learning the process.
Support & Guidance
Was given huge amount of support from my manager and also from others in my team throughout the year.
Culture
Culture was really good. In general the whole company has a lot of younger employees so it makes it much easier to get along with everyone. Was able to go for drinks regularly, and also planned activities with the team.
Your Impressions
Thoroughly enjoyed the placement. Has been beneficial to me to help build a lot of my soft skills. Would highly recommend.
