Overview
We had a lot of introductory sessions to the firm and its practice areas. We also had time to try out working at A&OS with respective trainers in a seat.
Skills
I’ve definitely learned more about the commercial world and developed my commercial awareness from that. I also developed my collaboration skills as part of the group presentation.
Business Insight
It was really interesting learning about the business side of a law firm. We also had a very in-depth session looking at what the training contract and SQE would look like, which answered a lot of questions that we had.
Culture
It was surprisingly relaxed socially - everyone I’ve met is extremely friendly and happy to answer any questions. People in my team were very social and knew each other well.
