    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • While the day to day tasks often change, much of my role involves creating assets for sales presentations and demos, or for the clients. As well as actually presenting and providing demos and workshops for the client to assist the sales team on selling the Adobe picture and products.

  • Presentation, sales acumen, organisation, ideation, are all skills that have been developed or learnt. On top of that I have further developed proficiency in the Adobe solutions themselves, as well as HTML, CSS and some JavaScript

  • There is a lot of responsibility with the role, as you are provided real clients and sales opportunities, that carry very real consequences. So keeping in top of your work, organisation, and understanding, is critical

  • There is a massive amount of support. Not only in resources but from your team, as well as other teams locally and internationally.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • The company values initiative and learning a lot. Always wanting to learn and better equipping yourself with a larger tool set of skills is very much the main ideology of the company employees. Despite that everyone is very happy to be present and are always using eachother and the resources to make learning easier and fun.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I would not trade the 13 months at Adobe for anything. The amount I have learned and the people I have met are all inspiring and has given me a better understanding of the direction I want to take in my future career.

  • Make sure you show a willingness to learn, with perhaps some history with Adobe or IT tools. And show that you have an analytical mind and think things through; without changing any personality of yours.
