Overview
The role was project-based so every day was different. I was involved in a number of projects and was even able to lead some of them. I had to do a lot of things including market research, customer research (survey and interviews), project planning, talking to external stakeholders and executing pilots. I have learned how to use collaborations tools (Miro and Jira), creativity tools (Canva) and some CRN platforms (HubSpot).
Skills
Yes, I've developed a lot of skills such as project management, working under pressure, presentation skills, communication across various departments, time-management and resilience.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility and autonomy. I was allowed to make decisions and communicate with external partners. I was treated like a team member like everyone else.
Support & Guidance
I was given sufficient support and guidance. I had both a mentor and a buddy that helped with transitioning to work environment and networking.
Culture
It was the best part of the placement. MO's values are amazing and everyone in the company respect and act though them. Everyone is positive and very lovely. Company's cultures is very supportive and welcoming.
Your Impressions
It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I wouldn't want to do my placement anywhere else.
Yes
Try to research the company beforehand and understand its purpose and values. Don't be scared of interviews and assessment centres. Just be yourself - they are interested in you as a person.
