The Role
Really fun experience full of valuable lesssons I will keep with me for a very long time
This has to be one of the friendliest law firms i have been to.
The open plan format of the office allowed for the much development of my skills and guidance on the tasks set.
At times there was a lot of work to get on with and on other days a little quiter which does reflect the nature of the life of a lawyer.
At one point I had to re-read over a contract that was to be sent off to slients on my grammatical changes, and at other times the work was just for development of my skills, again there was a perfect balance
The skills learnt were communication, which is key to every element of life. I learnt how to handle my time and also to be commercially aware, always thinking of the client and ways to further my knowledge.
The Company
Dress down friday added much variety and fun into the office and also a netball match on tuesday and lunch on Wednesday.
I recieves a welcome pack on my first day at the firm, which gave me clear instructions, the email system used also made for a seamless work conduct.
I sat opposite a partner for the whole week who gave me guidance. If that is not investing time, I don't know what is.

It is in Reading, so cheaper than London, but still more expensive than other places.
The nightlife from the company picturess seem to be good.
