Overview
The first three days were an induction in the London office where we heard from people at DLA. Then I had two weeks in the Litigation and Regulatory practice group before moving to Employment for my final week.
Skills
Better organisation, time management, attention to detail and also more comfortable with networking.
Business Insight
Everyone was very happy to speak about their individual roles and what their days looked like in that practice group. It provided me with a great overview of what it looks like to work at DLA in various practice groups.
Culture
The culture was very friendly and we received as much guidance as needed for specific tasks. The atmosphere was welcoming.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the Summer Internship and would recommend it to any student even if you do not have a background in law.
Yes
