Overview
• Developing hardware simulation packages • The designing, manufacturing, modelling, and testing of future hardware capabilities
Skills
Developed RF design skills and electrical engineering knowledge to utilise in simulation packages
Responsibilities
Initially I was (rightfully so) not given much responsibility, but as I developed as a competent engineer, I was provided with more opportunities to be responsible for bigger pieces of work
Support & Guidance
I had a line manager who I worked with throughout my whole placement, with a technical coordinator and a buddy. Lots of support.
Culture
Very welcoming, potentially an opportunity to create more friends at MBDA but as a whole, very welcoming culture.
Your Impressions
I massively enjoyed my placement at MBDA. I worked alongside technical experts that provided me with a wealth of knowledge and gained valuable experience that I will use for the rest of my career
Yes
Join in as much as you can and try to utilise as much benefits and opportunities while you are there. You may not think it is necessary, but will be remembered if you decide to return as a graduate
